Cuttack, August 30: The Cuttack District Administration has decided to celebrate this year in a bigger way the historic Bali Yatra festival, canceled for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but in public-private partnership mode .
“This year, we are planning to organize the Bali Yatra in collaboration with several private organizations through the bidding process,” District Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani said.

The privatization initiative was taken in 2019 by deploying a private organization for certain cultural events. However, no tender has been issued for this.

The week-long maritime trade fair will be observed from November 8 this year.
The state cultural department has given a grant of Rs 20 lakh for various programs to be held at the festival.
