Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) which listed the earthquake at a magnitude of 4.0.
Based on preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused significant damage, but was likely felt by many to be slight vibrations in the epicenter area.
Weak tremors could have been felt in Praya (35,200 inhabitants) located 17 km from the epicenter, in Lembar (10,000 inhabitants) at 33 km and in Mataram (318,700 inhabitants) at 38 km.
