Lombok airport provides vaccine reminder service
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Lombok International Airport in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has reopened the COVID-19 vaccination service in accordance with the issuance of Ministry of Transport Circular No. 36 of 2022 which states that passengers who received the dose reminders are not required to show a negative PCR or antigen test result. The policy is effective as of April 5, 2022.
It is also stipulated that fully vaccinated passengers must present a negative result of the PCR test carried out within 3×24 hours before departure or of the antigen test carried out within 1×24 hours before departure, while passengers who have obtained only the first dose are required to bring a negative result of PCR test performed within 3×24 hours before the flight.
“So we have opened the COVID-19 vaccination service at this airport,” the airport’s acting general manager, Nugroho Jati, said on Wednesday, April 6.
In addition to supporting the government’s efforts to speed up the vaccination programme, the service aims to help future air passengers fulfill one of the travel requirements, namely a vaccination certificate.
The Lombok Airport Vaccination Service is serving a second dose and a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The types of vaccines available include Sinovac and Moderna for the second vaccine and Moderna for the booster. The site is located in the Departure Hall and opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Indonesian Time (WITA).
