MotoGP Logistics arrives in Lombok ahead of Mandalika pre-season testing
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – the MotoGP The season opener draws closer as teams have started to prepare for one of the pre-season tests in the racing calendar at the Mandalika International Circuit. Logistics have started to arrive at the track which will host pre-season testing from February 11-13.
The teams are currently testing at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia as part of a pre-season “shakedown” test.
Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) Director Priandhi Satria in a written statement on Wednesday February 2 announced that MotoGP riders’ motorcycles and spare parts had arrived at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport in Lombok.
Regarding the preparation of the track, the MGPA also reported that the arrangement of the placement of containers for the temporary offices of Dorna as the organizer of the race series, the media center, the motorcycles and the containers of spare parts were prepared.
Further facilities to support pre-season testing and the actual races scheduled for March 18-20 at the Mandalika International Circuit are currently under construction.
