HARARE – Friday was indeed a very eventful day in the entertainment industry, with Winky D releasing his highly anticipated December project, Happy Again and Roki releasing his own “Mafuta”.
It’s important to note that Roki barely hit the hottest trend list, as usually happens when he releases a song. Meanwhile, Winky D’s ‘Happy Again’ beat the Zimbabwean daily in YouTube views after reaching 430,000 views in 24 hours, nearly double the previous record set by Jah Prayzah’s Mukwasha of 281,000 in 24 hours. time.
Outspoken reporter Hopewell Chin’ono took to social media to poke fun at Java for trying to prove he could be better than Winky D. Hopewell posted a screenshot of the song by Roki appearing as an advertisement on YouTube.
He wrote: “Things have gotten so bad for False Prophet Passion Java, he is now buying views for Roki’s video through YouTube ads. The organic path has failed miserably! “He released the song the day Winky’s Happy Again came out! The challenge has collapsed! “
In response to Hopewell, Java posted a one-line insult that he has been using on him for some time.
He said: “Without hope Chimkonyo uri 113010 siya Roki na Winky uko…”
In July, Roki and Java sparked controversy after Roki’s song Zvazviri miraculously crushed 1 million views in four days, which was new to a Zimbabwean.
The duo denied purchasing any views and claimed they were only organic views.
Java is accused of being obsessed with Winky D as it is alleged that he stole his nickname and calls himself “the Gafa”.
