Several regions of Indonesia will experience heavy rains, lightning

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Meteorological, Climate and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) forecast torrential rains accompanied by lightning and eddies in several parts of Indonesia today.

According to the BMKG website on Friday, the confluence and deceleration of convergence had elongated from the west coast of West Sumatra to Aceh, from south Sumatra to the west coast of West Sumatra, from the south coast of Central Java to West Java, east of Nusa Tenggara, and north of Kalimantan, from west of Kalimantan to the Strait of Karimata.

Such a condition can also occur in the Banda Sea, the Makassar Strait to the southern part of Central Kalimantan, Maluku, the Arafuru Sea, West Papua and Papua.

Meanwhile, confluence has been observed at Karimata Strait, Riau Islands, east coast of Riau, Malaka Strait, north Sulawesi and Gorontalo.

The BMKG noted that this condition triggered the growth of rains in areas where convergence and confluence occurred, from Aceh, Bengkulu, North Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, West Sumatra and South Sumatra. to Lampung.

West Java, Jakarta, West Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, Gorontalo, South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and Maluku are other regions which also experience a similar condition.
